His original goal was to be a government bureaucrat by learning ‘German’.\nBut Nakane lost his employment because Tokyo Shojakukan got excluded from national institutions by the government’s convenience. Then he got a new job at Niigata prefectural hospital and medical school in 1877.\nThis essay mainly focuses on Nakake’s life in Niigata Prefectural Medical School days, studies his achievements, and relates in detail.\nAnd then, Nakane resigned from the school and came to Tokyo in 1881, got a post as an employee of ‘Dajoukan,’ the central part of the Meiji government, in 1882.
