| 内容記述 | Improving health literacy（HL）is increasingly emphasized from the perspectives of promoting individual health and sustaining healthcare systems. However, the actual status of HL among female junior college students has not been sufficiently reported and remains unclear. This report analyzed data obtained from experiential learning classes conducted at a female junior college to clarify the HL status of students. The findings revealed that many students exhibited “inadequate” HL levels, particularly in the domains of healthcare-related HL and the ability to access and appraise health information. These findings suggest the need to enhance educational programs aimed at improving overall HL by strengthening students’ competencies in obtaining necessary health information and appropriately evaluating such information. | |||||||||||||
