Methods: The subjects comprised seven students who served as peer educators in the practicum.The self-evaluation scale for learning activities and The General self-efficacy scale (GSES)scores were examined before and after the program. After the conclusion, group interviews were conducted and the content was categorized by similarity and commonality. Results: The learning activity self-evaluation scale score increased significantly after the practicum.There was no change with respect to the GSES. From the results of the group interviews, the following five categories regarding educational effects on peer educators were extracted: “Acquisition of knowledge and skills,” “Improvement of self-affirmation,” “Efforts for learning activities,” “Acquisition of roles as seniors,” and “Collaboration regarding learning with peers.” Conclusion: Changes in learning activities, collaboration with peers, and increased motivation for learning were noted as educational effects.
