Based on the preliminary self-monitoring experience report, the subjects were divided into Group A (patients were able to understand) and Group B (patients were unable to understand). Descriptions related to patient understanding and teaching points during patient education were extracted from the after-action report and analyzed qualitatively and descriptively.\nResults: Through the educational program that emphasizes self-monitoring, subjects learned key points of patient understanding and support in patient education. From the perspective of understanding patients, we extracted five categories, such as [difficulty in continuing] and [changes in lifestyle], which were common to both groups, and [anxiety about diet therapy], which was applicable only to Group A.
