| 内容記述 | Decorative stitches of“ Seimei kuji kano” can be seen on the breast of the banner and curtain. These are also mentioned in military texts as being sewn on banners and camp curtains. The purpose of sewing on the Seimei Kuji Kano shapes was to protect oneself with these characters used in the art of shujutsu, and it can be said that they were used with the expectation of magical effects. Seimei and Kano have a“ So form,” and this form is often seen on the waistband of childrenʼs kimonos. Childrenʼs kimono, Hitotsumi, has an amulet called a“ back guard,” and it is thought that“ So no kano” and“ So no Seimei” sewn into the waist cord had the same magical meaning as the banner and curtain. | |||||||||||||
