| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to clarify the spirituality of prostate cancer patients using the interview data "Narratives of Prostate Cancer" from DIPEx-Japan. For the analysis, we used text mining methods, especially the original text reference function, to extract relevant word expressions. The following words were selected: negative emotion, root/relationship, humanity, male function, God and Buddha, nature/universe, and view of life and death. By analyzing the health and illness narratives of prostate cancer patients, it was confirmed that the function of spirituality is to review and change the values, views of life and death that existed before the onset of the disease. We believe that understanding how patients review their values, views of life and death will provide an opportunity for supporters to derive elements for intervention. | |||||||||||||||||
