| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to propose a new shape of Braille blocks （also called Tactile paving or Tactile walking surface indicators） to replace the conventional square one. Squareshaped blocks are convenient for alignment, but they must be laid in a broken and unnatural form when the sidewalk curves. To solve this problem, I propose Braille blocks which consist of overlapping circles. This circular Braille block can be freely rotated and can provide a gently connected walking guide for the visually impaired and others. In addition, the wave-shaped outline is easy to distinguish from the straight line of the curbstone, contributing to the safe walking of the users. | |||||||||||||
