| 内容記述 | On August 6th (Tuesday) and 7th (Wednesday), 2024, a survey of 21 hand-drawn kosode hinagata and related materials owned by CHISO Holdings Co., Ltd. was conducted at the Institute of Chiso Arts and Culture. Most of the surveyed materials were sample books for townswomen ordering kimonos, including 13 hand-drawn hinagatabon from the Edo to Meiji periods, and a color sample book used in conjunction with these hindagatabon. The other items were one hand-drawn hinagata that samurai women used in the Edo period, two hand-drawn collections of designs produced in the Meiji period, and four publications that kimono makers may have referred to for kimono production. As a result, we have obtained many valuable clues in clarifying the relationship between hand-drawn hinagatabon and their surrounding materials. | |||||||||||||
