| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is to introduce "Daigokai naikoku kangyou hakurannkai kinen sensyokukan" ( "textile products as memory of the 5th National industrial exhibition" ) and the review of the 5th National industrial exhibition in Japan. National industrial exhibitions are held as a part of the policy of promoting industry in Japan in Meiji period. In the national industrial exhibition a variety of products made in Japan were exhibited. Textile products were regarded as the most important ones among them. That's the reason why"Daigokai naikoku kangyou hakurannkai kinen sensyokukan" was published immediately after the exhibited. Looking over this book indicates that the government at that time focused not only on exporting textile products but also on using them to stimulate a regional economy. | |||||||||
