内容記述 | Cotton and wood have complex, hierarchical internal structures that exhibit superior physical properties that cannot be reproduced by man-made materials. In this study, we applied additive manufacturing (AM) technology to develop materials that mimic the complex microstructures produced by living organisms. The structures formed using 3D printing filaments composited with flexible thermoplastic polyurethane and a water-soluble polymer exhibit a wood-like porous structure and significantly enhanced flexibility. In addition, we have developed a technology for AM modeling of porous structures with Voronoi structures, which are observed in nature. | |||||||||||
